Yes the big day approches. Yes we have selected a site! Yes we have selected the restaurant we are going to after the wedding… Want me to tell you one?
OK I will –randomly pick– one of the pieces of info I am willing to share at this point.
3 2 1 roll {5} of course I rolled a 5 which means you get the name of the restaurant and it’s data.
it’s called Tony Cheng’s www.tonychengrestaurant.com
619 H Street, NW • Washington, DC 20007 • Tel. 202-371-8669 • 202-842-8669
E-mail: info@tonychengrestaurant.com Metro: Gallery Place Metro
The Dinner plans are thus:
We are making reservations for dinner (UPSTAIRS, Restaurant not BBQ) for our immediate family… If you wish to have dinner with us, make reservations for around 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome, but dinner is a dutch affair. (we just can’t afford to feed you all… We are sorry… this is a low budget event) we –may– have a limited number of seats at our reserved tables, approach us on Friday via email… but these seats are dutch too… so don’t get all drooly.
Please keep in mind that if you have any dietary issues (allergies, religious constraints, meat aversion, or whatever) you need to contact the restaurant ahead of time and/or communicate clearly with your server. We have not been here before, but this type of cuisine is usually amenable to customization, so we *think* all should be fine.
Attending the dinner is NOT MANDATORY! If you have somewhere else to be, that is OK too. We would still like to see you at the wedding, plus there are plenty of fine dining establishments in Chinatown and all around the city. Just remember that we appreciate your efforts to come to our hitching… thank you.
-Love, Michelle and Jasen.
Cool! As late as it is, I called just now and made a reservation for 6:30.
I told the lady I wanted an upstairs table close to the Stengel wedding party. Very easy.
thanks!
